Naira Marley administration responds to allegations that he can’t find someone to stand for him

The administration of Nigerian vocalist, Afeez Fashola otherwise known as Naira Marley, has responded to claims that the artist who was finally granted bail by a Lagos court on May 30th, is yet to be discharged from jail in light of the fact that nobody wants to stand as surety for him.

Responding to the claim, Naira Marley’s administration in a post shared on his Instastories toward the beginning of today, said there are sureties as of now on ground to sign his bail yet the deferral in discharging him is on the grounds that the antigraft organization, EFCC, needs to confirm the data given by the sureties and this requires significant amount of time.

Naira Marley was captured on May 10th, his birthday. He was charged to court on 11-count charges of extortion and internet scam.

Subsequent to going through 20 days in EFCC custody, Naira Marley was granted bail in the sum of 2 Million Naira with sureties with landed property in Lagos.
